Mission: Is to empower communities based in internally displaced camps through education and economic development by addressing poverty and inequality to create a world where every underprivileged individual has the opportunity to thrive.

Vision: To build resilient communities that can sustain themselves and support future generations.

1.To Support Women and Youth with Vocational training skills.

2.To encourage economic empowerment through small businesses and self reliance programs.

3.To Equip women and youth with Agricultural skills including irrigation, composting and pest control.

4.To train communities in small-scale farming practices to boost household incomes.

5.To increase awareness of proper sanitation and hygiene through soap making.

Empower Hope Initiative Goals

  • Empower 200+ women and youth annually: Train a significant number of participants each year in soap-making and agricultural practice skills.
  • Create sustainable livelihoods: enable at least 70% of trained individuals to start small soap-making businesses and cooperatives.
  • Improve Hygiene and sanitation: Distribute affordable soap to low-income households and health centers
  • Establish community-based soap-making enterprises to scale up production and sales
  • Expand market access: connect trained entrepreneurs with local markets, wholesalers and retailers.
  • Ensure program sustainability: Develop partnerships with NGOs, government agencies, and the private sector for long-term impact.
  • Promote local production and reduce imports: Encourage communities to use locally produced soap instead of expensive imported products

I am Ayuen Machar Nhial. A MasterCard foundation scholar at the United States International University -Africa. Majoring in Finance. Through her experiences and interests, I am passionate about women empowerment and youth empowerment. I am committed to creating opportunities for marginalized communities.

Ajier Margaret Magot Awan from Jonglei State-Bor, South Sudan. She is a Morehead-Cain Scholar and an honors sophomore at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, majoring in Public Health with a concentration in Community and Global Public Health and minoring in Entrepreneurship. Driven by a deep commitment to bridging healthcare disparities, Ajier actively engages with underserved populations to promote health equity. Through education, advocacy, and action, she aspires to build inclusive and accessible healthcare systems that empower communities worldwide

IT Specialist
Aduot Jok is an IT Specialist at Empower Hope Initiative and a Management of Information Systems (MIS) student at Ashesi University. He is responsible for managing the organization’s website, ensuring it effectively showcases its mission, attracts donors, and reaches more beneficiaries. Through his expertise, Aduot is helping Empower Hope Initiative expand its digital presence, making education and entrepreneurship opportunities more accessible to young women and children.
